the ground still takes us
the ground still takes us
and holds us
and pulls us
and feeds us
and raises us
and lets us walk on it's skin
and lets us grow roots
and leaves and maybe even fruit
and calms us
and lets us lie down
inside
and lets us go back
..it outlives us
maybe all of us

while we wait
memories overlap
i need a song
the ground still takes us
hidden thought
insignificance
little lives
anticipation
camouflage myself
rich fruity memories
a state of mind
dreams
the porcupine is real
remind me
specks
i'm building a shadow
to be able to see again
time worth memories
deja vu
